Position: Planning Officer
FUNCTION: Finance
LOCATION: Lahore, Pakistan
REPORTS TO: Planning Manager
JOB PURPOSE
- Provide analytical and planning support to the Planning Manager and market unit team to help in
the diagnosis and resolution of key issues, improve understanding of MU economic, and facilitate the development of short term and long term performance targets.
POSITION IN ORGANISATION
Supervisor: Planning Manager
Peers: Accounts Officer
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Support AOP/Forecast development of MU initiatives, business action plans and
priorities.
• Support PM in preparation and consolidation of monthly MBR submission.
• Provide support in preparation of presentations
• Provide support in preparation of PI financials for June/Sept forecast.
• Actively manage all Hyperion submissions for AOP/Strat forecasts
• Support BU Planning Manager in the development of MU capital and operating budgets
and financial targets
• Carry out quarterly review of MFARs and A&M send and reconciliation with control.
• Support in preparation of new products system financials.
• Supervise collection & submission of volume flash reports and subsequent input into Ecase
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI’s)
• Timely and accurate reporting.
• Reporting of management reports.
• Tracking of marketing funds.
EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• Masters
• IT skills including proficiency in Hyperion, Excel and Power Point.
• 3 years plus
• Written and verbal
communication skills
• Good interpersonal
skills.
• Result oriented
• Good team player
